We believe it is important to provide an opportunity to bring together families who face challenges of Autism and related developmental disorders.

Parents, siblings, as well as the afflicted individual, need to share their common experiences, their hopes and dreams, and to find support for the special challenges faced throughout the year.

Camp Emerge focuses on the strengths of individuals and families.

We believe Camp Emerge provides the opportunity to simply “be a family” for a weekend, without fear of judgment or pressure to explain differences, and where every effort is met with praise and celebration.

We believe that families need the support of one another as well as the support of the communities, demonstrated throught the efforts of out voulunteers and sponsers.
